BOOO!

Quick post. I am getting really tired of people getting lucky on the river. I will try to tweak my game a little bit to better deal with these people. Just for a frame of reference, yesterday I was playing in a 5/10 nl short hand table. I was in for 160$, got pocket A's. Snake eyes. I raised, got re-raised, and then I proceed to go all in. One of the players in the table called with a 6/8 off suite. I was guaranteed the win. He hits small pair on the flop. Turn he got nothing, come the river he gets lucky and gets two pair. I loose and go on tilt. Thereby making my Friday night a horrible poker day.

Good News?

First time playing online in a while, decided to do a small buy in of 20$, in order to play at a no limit, hold em, at .05/.10 blinds. I must say I did pretty well. Looking forward towards the rest of the week :)

I watch this every morning. Gets the fire going.

Someday

Someday I’ll be able to do what I love; play poker for a living. For right now the day job takes care of the bills, but poker will be my future. Next week I hope to get around 20 hours at the tables, wish me luck ;-)

Back In the Poker Saddle

I know that I don’t have much of a following, but hey I didn’t start this to make money. I wanted a place to share my experience. Anyways, in the past year or so I literally stopped playing poker. It was a decision I made when I needed to get a “real” job as Poker was not paying the bills. Its been a while, so now I am ready to get back in the saddle. Next week I will make another deposit into the Bovada Network. They are the best website that is currently allowing US players to play on their software. I will update the blog in about a week, till then wish me luck :)
